The Big Easter Get Together
Easter is a time for getting together with family and friends, enjoying a delicious roast dinner, hunting for eggs, having fun with your little ones and eating chocolate until you burst!

Food
Start your morning's with a delicious breakfast to help fuel you through all of the fun. A full English would be a great start to your day. If you would like an easy option our hot cross bun loaf, with it’s delicate blend of mixed spices and dried fruit, makes the perfect Easter toast.
Next comes the main event. The best way to celebrate Easter is with a special Easter roast. We have everything you need to help you to cook your feast to perfection. Our butchers will be happy to help you to choose your perfect joint and we have recipes for Mustard & Rosemary Crusted Leg Of Lamb and Honey & Mustard Glazed Gammon in the recipe section of our website.
We can also help with all of the accompaniments. Our locally sourced fresh vegetables are a great addition to any roast dinner. We have some fantastic recipes too including; Potatoes Gratin, Spring Peas & Bacon and Marmalade Glazed Carrots. We apologise for making you hungry!
Fun
From the 13thApril – 22nd April (excluding Easter Sunday when we will be closed), we will be holding a free Easter Egg Hunt. There will also be appearances from Felix, our very own Easter Bunny, on Good Friday, Saturday and Easter Monday. Listen out for the special music which plays when Felix is about to pop up.
We have everything you need in the shop to get ready for an egg hunt. With baskets to eggs. We’ve got everything covered.
Gifts
Easter is the perfect opportunity to treat your loved ones. We’re proud to support our Yorkshire chocolatiers, including these adorable animal eggs from Sugar Therapy. They are almost too charming to eat. Ampleforth Chocolate Factory in North Yorkshire has also produced an egg-tastic range of handcrafted Easter eggs for Keelham, they raise awareness of autism and train and give work experience to adults with autism. Also available are eggs from Guppies, handcrafted in the City of York and absolutely delicious.
Gorgeous spring blooms will brighten up someone’s day too. Whether it’s a beautiful bouquet, a planted arrangement or some spring bulbs to nurture and grow, flowers are the perfect way to show someone that you care.
If you don’t want to say it with flowers, why not say it with beer and our wide range of locally sourced gin. You will be spoilt for choice, guaranteed.
